| Studio Morasso was founded in Genoa in 1980 by Emilio Morasso, after a research activity on behalf of many college-institutes and the activity as designer and project-manager for a lot of foreign governments and building companies. The Studio is involved in different fields, from building design to town planning, site management, industrial and stage design. |
Emilio Morasso carried out succesfully, for italian and foreign purchasers, several projects: residential schemes, schools, commercial centres, sports complexes and entertainment facilities, buildings for the tertiary sector. Dedicated to high technology and computer science, Studio Morasso developed and continues to play an important role in transformation works at city planning level and re-development of dismissed industrial areas, with special care to environmental problems. |
The activity of the Studio is prevalently located in northern Italy but important projects have been carried out also abroad, especially in the African and Middle East area. In some cases a temporary office has been set up abroad in order to deal with different tasks and working conditions of foreign countries. Studio Morasso pro-vides with the direct involvement in all the design stages, from the conceptual ideas to the final stages of the building construction and site management. |
Studio Morasso has a highly professional staff and the team maintains permanent contacts with relevant specialists in all fields: mechanical and electrical engineering, interior design, landscaping, structural and civil engineering, high technology innovation and research. Emilio Morasso edited also several books regarding drawing techniques, planning and design manuals as well as researches on residential typologies. |
